La mise en service du centre de contrôle du trafic permettra d'améliorer la fonctionnalité tant du point de vue de la circulation que de l'énergie et de l'environnement. Le nouveau centre de renfort de la circulation donne à la police cantonale une image moderne et constitue un engagement du canton en faveur de la durabilité. Dans ce projet phare, la durabilité est considérée comme une partie intégrante et associée à une architecture de qualité. L'approche durable se base sur l'ensemble du cycle de vie du bâtiment, y compris l'élaboration du projet, la construction, la gestion et la déconstruction. Le nouveau bâtiment se caractérise par des idées innovantes en matière de préservation des ressources, de réduction de la pollution et de promotion de la biodiversité.
